Your privacy rights

DonorGraph LLC compiles information about individuals from public records — such as IRS Form 990 filings, campaign-finance disclosures, SEC filings, and property records — and makes it available to nonprofit organisations for fundraising research. Most people in that data have never interacted with us directly. This page is how you reach us about your own information.

What you can ask for

• Access — what information we hold about you, and where it came from.
• Correction — fix something that is wrong.
• Deletion — remove your information from our research data.
• Opt out — ask us not to make your information available to customers.

These rights are available to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live. We do not require you to be a resident of any particular state.

We use the details above only to locate your records and respond. If we cannot find a match, we will tell you so and delete what you sent us.

What happens next

We acknowledge requests by email and respond within 45 days. We may ask you for information sufficient to verify that the request is really yours — we will not delete or disclose records on an unverified request, because doing so would itself be a privacy failure. Some records we hold are required to remain available by law; where we cannot fully honour a request, we will explain why.

If you were researched by a specific nonprofit

Nonprofits that use DonorGraph keep their own donor records, which they control. If your question is about a particular organisation's records, we will refer you to that organisation. We can still act on our own research data at the same time.
